!! Information about GH2 firmware

GH2 firmware uses format very similar to one used in Panasonic compacts. \\
See [[Compacts Encryption and Dumping]] for details.

----

!!! Format and analysys

GH2 firmware file size - '''0x00EE0600'''

''Firmware header part for GH2:''

Attach:header1.jpg

Compare this to FZ100 header:

Attach:header2.jpg

Both have so called ''UPD format''. \\
It is known for quite long and used in most Panasonic compact cameras.

As you can see, we have other 16 bytes hash or key located at 0x80.
Otherwise file format seems to be the same.

It is interesting to note that all UPD firmware files have size ending by 0x600.
