Information about GH2 firmware

GH2 firmware uses format very similar to one used in Panasonic compacts.
See Compacts Encryption and Dumping? for details.

Format and analysys

GH2 firmware file size - 0x00EE0600

Firmware header part for GH2:

Compare this to FZ100 header:

Both have so called UPD format.
It is known for quite long and used in most Panasonic compact cameras.

As you can see, we have other 16 bytes hash or key located at 0x80. Otherwise file format seems to be the same.

It is interesting to note that all UPD firmware files have size ending by 0x600.

Flash dumping approach
